When a membrane-switch supplier says it has capacity, purchasing still needs to establish the applicable product, process and period, and how much remains available for this order after existing commitments. Equipment counts, past monthly output and expansion targets do not establish that the order has a production allocation. Fix the part number, revision, quantity and required date first, then obtain an arrangement with stated conditions and a review date. Keep unconfirmed resources and periods pending.
In its October 30, 2026 announcement, OMRON described full-scale production at its Chennai factory in India and separately stated a capacity-expansion target for 2028. The release distributed by Kyodo PR on the company's behalf preserves that distinction between current production and a future target. This is a recent supplement, not a new factory start on November 2, and it is not Baoshengda Technology's capacity data.
If your own equipment project is also increasing production and separately sourcing membrane switches, check a supplier's present capability and planned additions separately. The following addresses available resources for your order. It does not imply that the news company uses membrane switches, has delivery problems or has a supply relationship with Baoshengda.
Turn a capacity claim into an answer you can check
Ask what a figure represents: a machine's theoretical rate, output from a particular process under specified shifts, or a quantity of a defined product that can be delivered after agreed inspection. Different units, periods, product mixes and data dates cannot be added or exchanged directly. Where those conditions are missing, request clarification rather than multiplying equipment counts into order output.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 operations-resources documentation distinguishes resource capabilities, working calendars and capacity reservations. Under finite-capacity scheduling, existing reservations are treated as unavailable capacity. The relevant distinction is between being able to perform an operation and having time available now. This software example neither requires a supplier to use that system nor establishes that any supplier has reserved resources for this order.
Cover the full delivery path in the purchasing record
The following fields are suggestions for discussing this order's allocation, not a universal audit standard, an established Baoshengda form or records from the news factory. A supplier can provide order-relevant summaries and constraints without disclosing other customers' names, prices or complete order books.
| Claim or material received | What this order still needs clarified | Conclusion the evidence can support |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment or production-line list | Which resources suit this part number, material, tooling and process, and whether they are ready for use | Applicable production conditions have been identified; the list alone does not establish a secured time window. |
| Historical output or trial-production result | Product mix, shifts, conditions and recording period, plus differences from this order's configuration | The result supports only its original conditions, not today's remaining capacity. |
| Proposed production window | Period, quantity available after existing commitments, material and approval prerequisites, and unconfirmed operations | Record a provisional or confirmed arrangement within its stated scope; an estimate does not automatically become a commitment. |
| Inspection, packaging and shipment arrangement | Whether downstream inspection and dispatch resources align with earlier completion, and how split quantities correspond | Record manufacturing, release and dispatch scope separately; one fast operation does not represent the whole delivery path. |
Do not look only at printing or die cutting. If the order also requires lamination, assembly, inspection and packaging, include their constraints; the actual supply scope determines the route. A membrane panel or graphic overlay without switch circuitry should not inherit a complete membrane switch's process route. For an overlay with metal domes used with the customer's PCB, list the customer PCB and readout-circuit supply boundaries separately.
For the equipment-production increase described above, check particularly whether the added quantity competes with existing orders for the same resources. If the supplier plans new equipment, overtime or subcontracting, include only confirmed conditions in the order arrangement and keep resources not yet in use marked as planned. Review changes to production location, subcontracted operations or approval scope under the project's agreement; schedule pressure does not itself authorize release.
What Baoshengda's public information supports
The production-launch information from Shenzhen Baoshengda Technology Co., Ltd. (Chinese) calls for alignment of approved samples, drawings, BOM, processes, inspection, packaging and material status, with lead times discussed according to project complexity, materials and confirmation status. It supports checking production prerequisites, not proof of current capacity, real-time stock or a secured allocation for this order. Shop-floor photos cannot replace those records.
When using the membrane-switch customization information (Chinese), English product overview and project contact page, provide the part number or drawing revision, sample-approval basis, quantity, required timing and whether split delivery is acceptable. The parties should confirm the period to be reserved, expected coverage and remaining dependencies for the actual project. This article announces no universal monthly capacity, expedited channel or fixed lead time.
Keep the allocation's conditions after issuing the purchase order
- Record the supplier's response date, applicable product revision, quantity and period, and whether the arrangement is provisional or confirmed.
- List materials still needed, documents awaiting approval and unconfirmed operations, with owners and the next review point.
- When quantities, drawings, materials or resource arrangements change, recheck the affected window and retain the original response rather than assuming it applies unchanged.
For lead-time endpoints, see sampling, production and shipment timing conditions (Chinese). For the document baseline when samples enter production, see the sample-to-production handoff (Chinese). The cover is an existing site photo of production-area personnel and equipment, not the OMRON factory or evidence of current equipment status, output or this order's allocation. The order conclusion should identify the arranged scope and unmet conditions, not end with an unsupported statement that capacity is sufficient.
